People First
People First has been working for over 20 years in some of the poorest districts of India with life changing projects concerned with education , child protection , womens rights , community health care and vocational training. People First is the nodal organisation for the Childline India Foundation in Gaya (urban).
Award winning work
People First has won several awards including the gem of the nation award presented to our chairman Mr Deepak Kumar by the late great former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam. People First has also been recognised by the State Government for doing "outstanding work" with an award presented by the then Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.

OUR COVID RESPONSE
People First have been at the very forefront of Covid 19 response in the district and have run a major project in the district with the help of over 40 volunteers and centred around Rescue Junction in Gaya .
